We are excited that you are considering ODU as a place to continue your learning career!
All graduate nursing programs offered by the Ellmer School of Nursing at Old Dominion 91¶ÌÊÓƵ, with the exception of Nurse Anesthesia, are delivered in a hybrid format for distance learning students. Students complete didactic content online and clinical requirements in their own geographic area. For some programs, students attend on-campus immersion days for intensive workshops and the opportunity to engage face-to-face with faculty, peers, and health care leaders.Â
Students may specialize in a variety of roles. Our programs emphasize expertise in theory, research, and advanced nursing practice. Through academic courses and clinical experiences, graduate students are prepared to meet the future's healthcare demand for nurses in advanced practice, leadership and education.Â
We hope that you will find our programs to be enlightening, inspiring, and rewarding. If you have any questions, please contact the Graduate Program Director for your area of interest.
We offer you our best wishes and support as you begin your journey through your graduate studies!
