In-Person Courses:

Students in PSYC 201S and PSYC 203S are required to earn 5 SONA credits with a minimum of 1.5 credits coming from ON-site credit. As such, it is possible to satisfy all 5 SONA credits with only ON-site credit. On the other hand, getting 5 OFF-site credits will earn 3.5 SONA credits. Additionally, credits can only be used in the semesters in which they were earned, and credits from one study cannot be split amongst courses. So, if a study is worth 4 credits, you cannot apply 2 to one course and 2 to another. Article summaries can also be completed for credit. Article summaries are worth 1 credit each and can be used in place of either OFF-site or ON-site credit. Please check your individual course syllabus to see how the requirements apply to you.
