Students enrolled at any ODU location or in any ODUOnline course may register to take a proctored exam at this convenient location in Hampton. Use theÌýÌýto make an appointment. If your professor has directed you to use SmarterProctoring, please schedule your exam by logging into Canvas.
- Students enrolled in courses at ODU Peninsula can expect exam support during regularly scheduled class time. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of changes made by the professor.

Ìýare required and must be made 48 hours in advance by all ODUOnline students and students registered at main campus or other Regional Higher Education Centers.

Students enrolled at ODU Peninsula, but taking an exam outside the scheduled class time must alsoÌýÌýa space 48 hours in advance.

Appropriate official photo ID required (ODU student ID, state-issued, military or passport).

Limited spaces are available. All students must utilize ourÌýÌýto make an appointment. Appointments are no longer taken over the phone.

Test begins no later than the scheduled time (no late admissions).

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before start time.

No eating or drinking is allowed in the testing room.

All electronic devices (e.g. cell phone, laptop etc.) are strictly prohibited.

Testing ends promptly at 8:30 p.m. Please be sure to make your appointment so you have enough time to finish your exam. If you're unsure of your exam length, we recommend making a morning appointment.

No-show appointments are subject to loss of future testing privileges. If you cannot make your appointment, please cancel using the online system. If you have trouble, please contact our office by phone atÌý757-766-5200, or by email atÌýphec@odu.edu. Testing Center seats are at a premium, and no-shows impact other students. We appreciate your consideration for your fellow student.

All confirmed appointments are automatically sent a confirmation e-mail immediately following your registration. If needed, don't hesitate to contact our office confirming your appointment.

ODU Peninsula has space available that meet the unique privacy requirements of ProctorU exams.
When you reserve a space at ODU Peninsula, call 757-766-5200 or email phec@odu.edu 48 hours prior to exam), you are reserving a quiet space to take the exam. ODU personnel DO NOT proctor the exam. You are not guaranteed a computer. Two ODU laptop PCs can be checked out (subject to availability) with proper identification left at the front desk until computer is returned. These laptops cannot be taken outside of ODU Peninsula. We strongly encourage you to bring your laptop as an option.

A headset is available for checkout at the Reception desk.
