The Biomedical Engineering PhD Program emphasizes the highest quality engineering education, scholarly research at the forefront of biomedical engineering, and service to the biomedical engineering profession. Completion of a minimum of 48 hours of graduate credits to include: a minimum of 24 credits of course work beyond the master鈥檚 degree and a minimum of 24 credits of dissertation research.
Both the Master of Science and Master of Engineering degrees are designed for students who would like to advance their knowledge and expertise in biomedical engineering. These programs are intended to broaden students' knowledge of the field in preparation for the biomedical technology industry or a PhD program.
This interdisciplinary minor is for students who would like to learn about processes encountered in biomedical engineering and enhance their ability to integrate knowledge from different disciplines with principles used in biomedical engineering. The minor offers an opportunity for students to be recognized for study in this growing multidisciplinary field and to enhance competitiveness for job opportunities upon graduation.
The Graduate Certificate in Biomedical Engineering program offers students and professionals the opportunity to further their knowledge with advanced study in the growing area of biomedical engineering. The program is designed to provide well-rounded instruction in several key facets of biomedical engineering.
