In celebration of National Library Week and National Poetry Month, the ODU Libraries will hold a Poetry Slam on Tuesday, April 14 from 5:00-7:30 PM in the Learning Commons presentation area near Einstein's. The event will be MC'd by ODU MFA student Robbie Ciara.
A poetry slam is a competition where poets present their work to a live audience and are judged by a panel. There will be three rounds where participants will present their original poetry and will be judged on the quality of the poetry and the presentation.
