General collection print books in Perry Library are located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. They are arranged by Library of Congress Classification, consisting of letters and numbers. Records found in Monarch OneSearch will indicate the floor followed by the call number for the specific book. Example: Perry Library General Coll./Floor 4 PS3568.A572 C58 2014
The Perry Library floor plans will give you the general location of the beginning letter(s) of the call number.
We recently added a list of call number locations by range (sections of shelving with end panels) to make it easier to locate books. First look for the range number at the top of the end panel, and then locate the call number on the front (A) or back (B) side of the range.
