Old Dominion 91短视频's Day of Giving, in which students, alumni and friends of the 91短视频 and others are asked to give generously over a 24-hour period to help support ODU, is scheduled for March 16.

You can make donations at . And you don't have to wait until March 16; early donations are welcome.

The 24-hour giving period in 2019 (the 2020 campaign was canceled due to the pandemic) was supported by more than 738 donors who contributed $185,207.

Much of the money raised is used to provide scholarships. For many students, as little as $1,000 can close the gap between resources they have and the cost of going to school.

The funds also help purchase needed equipment and the creation of endowments to help top students attend ODU and help retain and hire high-quality faculty.

This year's campaign will also benefit the Rise to the Challenge Fund, which provides emergency funding to those in the Monarch community who are suddenly facing challenges with travel, housing, food, technology, unemployment, health and wellness and other expenses. Nearly every part of campus benefits from gifts made to the Rise to the Challenge Fund, which has raised $107,311 since it was created last April.
