The multi-year study examined librarians and library administrators' reasons for investing in assistive technology. This was coupled with responses from students at the same universities who weighed in on the advantages of access to assistive technology. Spoiler alert: students and librarians diverged on the reasons for employing assistive technology with students seeing value in increasing information literacy and completing academic tasks.
