Tuition Assistance for the 2025 Spring Semester

Applications for the 2025 Spring Semester are being accepted through Monday, December 2, at 5 p.m.Ìý Eligible classified, hourly, instructional, and administrative & professional faculty employees may apply.Ìý To be eligible:

Ìý

  • You must have completed service time as stated below.

Ìý

  • Full-time employees must have completed one year of continuous full-time service with ODU by December 2.
  • Part-time and hourly employees must have worked a total of 2080 continuous hours by December 2.
  • The one-year service time includes continuous service at both ODU and EVMS
  • Adjunct teaching service time does not count towards service eligibility.
  • EVMS Legacy employee dependents are not eligible for the dependent scholarship program benefits until August 1, 2025

  • You must be admitted as a degree-seeking student.

Ìý

  • ODU and Macon & Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at ODU programs are eligible except the M.D. program.

Ìý

  • You must be registered for the course(s) indicated on your application.

The application is available Online.Ìý You must complete the application by the deadline.Ìý Late applications are not accepted.

Ìý

Per policy, eligible employees may apply for the following number of credit hours for the Spring 2025 semester.

Ìý

  • Classified Employees – 6 credit hours
  • Instructional and Administrative and Professional – 6 credit hours
  • Dependent/Spouse – 6 credit hours
  • Part-time and Hourly – 3 credit hours
  • Military/ROTC – 6 credit hours
