A select number of exceptionally well-qualified students at Old Dominion 91¶ÌÊÓƵ may be admitted to the Linked Bachelor’s/Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering program while in their junior year of undergraduate studies. This program encourages admitted students to work closely with individual faculty members during the remainder of their undergraduate program, and allows them to complete graduate coursework while they are still undergraduates. They must maintain a GPA of 3.50 or better throughout their bachelor’s studies. Students interested in the linked program option should talk with their undergraduate advisor and the graduate program director to see if the program would be beneficial for them.

Electronics Engineers, Except Computer
Research, design, develop, or test electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials properties. Design electronic circuits and components for use in fields such as telecommunications, aerospace guidance and propulsion control, acoustics, or instruments and controls.
