Withdrawal Deadlines effective Fall 2023 (See 91¶ÌÊÓƵ Catalogs)
Withdraw deadline for all non-semester-long courses (i.e., Summer sessions, Maymester, Winter Term, or 8-week sessions) is now theÌýday prior toÌýthe last day of classes for that session (notÌýthe last day of classes).
Deadline to withdraw from semester-long (16-week) sessions without instructor's permission is the end of the twelfth (12th) week of classes. After the withdraw deadline, instructor permission is required on theÌýPermission to Withdraw After DeadlineÌý´Ú´Ç°ù³¾.
Please refer to the detailed calendar dates for each session (below) for the withdraw deadlines.
Students should use Banner Registration inÌýÌýto withdraw. Students with holds preventing any registration transactions may emailÌýregister@odu.eduÌýfrom the @odu.edu email address, with name and 91¶ÌÊÓƵ ID Number (UIN) and the SUBJ/CRSE/CRN(s) of the classes to be withdrawn. A confirmation email will be sent when the request has been processed.
Requests for withdraws must be receivedÌýby the deadline. Requests received after the deadline will not be processed.
